How To Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

Pre-Requisites

• Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7
• USB cable
• Computer
• MicroSD card
• The battery power of the Tablet must be 70% at least, so that it keeps the device active all through    the rooting process.
• You must keep backups of all data separately before rooting your device.

Steps to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

Step 1: You must first download the above files and save in your computer.

Step 2: Download and install Samsung KIES including the Samsung USB drivers for your tablet for transferring data from system to tablet.

Step 3: Via USB connect your Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 to your system and transfer the ‘Root.zip’ file inside the root of the external microSD card of your device.

Step 4: Now switch off the power of the tablet.

Step 5: It’s time to reboot the tablet in ‘Recovery Mode’ by pressing the Volume Up  andPower button at the same time till the Galaxy Tab logo shows and then release the buttons.

Step 6: Now you are in ‘recovery menu’, just scroll to ‘install update from external storage’.

Step 7: Search for Root.zip file that you have transferred earlier and select it by pressing thePower button.

Step 8: The Root.zip file will start flashing and after completing the tablet will again automatically reboot.

Step 9: After rebooting, download or scan the Superuser app from the QR code given below.

Congratulations, your Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is now successfully rooted and it’s ready to try some custom ROMs on it.
